【初中生保护环境主题英语演讲稿】Good morning, teachers and dear classmates,

Today, I am honored to stand here and share my thoughts on a very important topic — protecting the environment. As a middle school student, I realize that our planet is facing many environmental problems, such as air pollution, water pollution, and deforestation. These issues not only affect nature but also have a big impact on our daily lives.

We all know that the Earth is our home. But in recent years, people have been using natural resources too much and polluting the environment without thinking about the consequences. For example, many people throw garbage everywhere, which makes the streets dirty and harms animals. Also, factories release harmful gases into the air, causing serious health problems for people.

As students, we may feel that we are too young to make a difference. However, even small actions can help. For instance, we can save energy by turning off lights when we don't need them. We can also reduce waste by using reusable bags and bottles instead of single-use plastic. Recycling is another simple but effective way to protect the environment.

In addition, we should learn more about environmental protection and spread this knowledge to others. Every person has a responsibility to take care of the Earth. If we all do our part, we can make a big change together.

Let me end my speech with a famous saying: “The best way to predict the future is to create it.” So let's take action now and work together to protect our environment for a better tomorrow.
